Our success story began in 1877 when Karl Schill and Christoph Seilacher in Heilbronn, Germany, created chemical additives to ensure more effective leather processing. In 1943, production was moved to Böblingen near Stuttgart. As early as 1925, we opened another production facility for the manufacture of rubber additives in Hamburg. This was joined in 1979 by Struktol Company of America in Ohio and then in 1997 by Schill+Seilacher Chemie GmbH in Pirna/Dresden. Since 2019, the Schill+Seilacher Group has been owned by a foundation. With our development and production sites, as well as a worldwide distribution network, we are closer to our customers than ever before.
